Amazon, the world's largest company that sells goods and services on the Internet, has taken legal action against the administrators of more than 10,000 Facebook groups (the company that owns Meta is considered an extremist organization) for posting false reviews of Amazon products in these groups. The company's press office posted a statement to this effect on its website.

"Today Amazon filed a lawsuit against the administrators of more than 10,000 Facebook groups that attempt to post fake reviews of Amazon (products) in exchange for money or free goods," it said in a statement.

The statement said these groups were created specifically to post misleading reviews of products in Amazon stores in the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan.

The company intends to use the information obtained from Amazon in the lawsuit to identify users posting false reviews. The company will then insist that those reviews be removed.

In late February, Roskomnadzor's press service reported that Facebook had censored material from four Russian media outlets and imposed technical restrictions on their search to reduce their audience.
